Crawford propels ANU in QS Rankings by Subject

The Crawford School of Public Policy is contributing to the global standing at ANU in QS Rankings by Subject 2026. Our work in Anthropology, Politics and International and Development Studies, and Sociology has helped place those subjects in the global top 20 in the latest rankings. 

Crawford teaches courses across a wide range of subjects, all contributing to our global reputation. Among those are:

  • Anthropology - Ranked #9 in the world, #1 in Australia and #1 in the Go8 

  • Economics and Econometrics - Ranked #38 in the world, #2 in Australia and #2 in the Go8 

  • Politics and International and Development Studies - Ranked #14 in the world, #1 in Australia and #1 in the Go8

  • Public Administration and Social Policy - Ranked #21 in the world, #1 in Australia and #1 in the Go8
