Formal agreement signed to support emerging policy leaders
The Crawford School of Public Policy, University of Indonesia FISIP and Universitas Gadjah Mada FISIPOL have officially joined forces to support current and emerging policy leaders across the region.
We have been working together for years, and that relationship has been formalised, kickstarting initiatives in executive development programs to support public administration capacity-building in Australia and Indonesia, new public policy education opportunities, research collaborations, closer working relationships between our academics to advance research for the region, and create new opportunities for all our alumni networks working in the shared fields of policy and administration.
Professor Janine O’Flynn says, “Two years ago, we called our joint initiative kolaborasi for good reason. Now we have formalised our initiatives and worked together to map out how we will implement our new relationship.”
“Our commitment is to work together on enhancing policy capacity, and to open up new opportunities for joint programs helps our nations to develop shared interests and opportunities.”
“In the 80th year of the Australian National University and the 20th year of the Crawford School of Public Policy, this is especially important. Not only do we recognise our history together, but we are also setting out how our three policy-focused institutions can work in a tripartite relationship together for the future.”
Terima kasih and thank you to all our friends who have played a part in our journey so far.
