The inquiry, announced by Minister for the Environment and Water, Murray Watt, will be led by Commissioner Joanne Chong. It will focus on keeping Australia’s water secure and affordable, while making the sector more productive and sustainable in the long term.

Crawford School Director Professor Janine O’Flynn said, “We are delighted to see Dr Wyrwoll’s appointment as Associate Commissioner. This appointment reflects his expertise and standing as one of the nation’s leading researchers in this field, and acknowledges the impactful policy work he has undertaken.
