On 27–28 November, we successfully hosted the China Update 2025, focusing on The Digital Transformation in China.
The China Economy Program successfully hosted the China Update 2025, bringing together leading scholars, policymakers, and industry experts to examine this year’s theme: The Digital Transformation in China. The 2025 theme highlighted China’s rapidly evolving digital economy, driven by artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and robotics, and explored how these technologies are reshaping both emerging high-tech sectors and traditional industries. Through keynote presentations and in-depth discussions, the event revisited the central questions of how China can enhance innovation, strengthen regulatory frameworks, improve digital-era productivity measurement, and seize new opportunities for sustainable growth.
