Australia's Parliament is on the verge of legislating a climate policy package that puts a price on carbon emissions. Will the scheme put Australia on trackfor a low-emissions future? How will it affect industries, jobs, and household budgets? Is it sensible policy in the international context, and how are the politics of climate change playing out? A number of Australia's leading climate change economists, policy analysts and practitioners will put their perspectives and engage in debate.
This Crawford School Dialogue will be among the key events on climate policy in Australia this year. It is supported by the Centre for Climate Economics and Policy at the Crawford School.
