Overview

This Graduate Certificate of International and Development Economics (6 months full-time, or part-time equivalent) will equip you with tools in economic analysis and the skills to apply them to key issues in international and development economics.

Program delivery

Our program delivery emphasises interactive and real-time engagement, ensuring that all graduate courses are available for both online and on-campus students. All learners, including those online, are required to attend scheduled classes. Participating in this combined model  promotes connection between online and in-person cohorts, allowing for a richer understanding and fostering networking opportunities. Delivery methods include live lectures via Zoom, pre-recorded content, dual delivery seminars and workshops for real-time interaction Attendance and participation are expected and may be assessed, providing a consistent and engaging educational experience for all students, regardless of their location.

Pathway to a Master degree

You may wish to consider extending your Graduate Certificate to complete a Master degree. Your 24 units of study in the Graduate Certificate may count as credit towards the Master of Environmental and Resource EconomicsMaster of International and Development Economics or Master of Public Policy.
