The deadline for papers for the Australasian Development Economics Workshop, to be held this year at the ANU on the 4th and 5th of June, is approaching. High-quality academic papers on all aspects of development economics are welcome, with a particular emphasis on papers with policy insights relating to the Asia-Pacific region.
Submissions will be received in pdf format until 15 March 2026 via the ADEW webpage. Full drafts of papers must be submitted with an abstract not exceeding 300 words. Financial assistance will also be available for a limited number of Australian-based PhD students.
The 2026 Keynote Speaker is Christopher Woodruff, Professor of Development Economics, University of Oxford.
