Meet the ANU Indonesia Project Team at the 21st IRSA International Conference

The ANU Indonesia Project is pleased to be participating in the 21st Indonesian Regional Science Association (IRSA) International Conference, which will be held in Bandar Lampung, Indonesia, from 6–7 July 2026. The conference brings together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and students from across Indonesia and internationally to discuss regional development, public policy, and emerging research challenges.

As part of the conference program, the ANU Indonesia Project will support the pre-conference workshop Introduction to Quasi-Experiment Policy Impact Evaluation, to be held on 4–5 July 2026 at Universitas Lampung.

The workshop will introduce participants to key concepts and practical applications of quasi-experimental methods used to evaluate the impact of public policies and programs. Topics include causal inference, matching methods, regression discontinuity, difference-in-differences, and instrumental variable approaches. Designed for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, the workshop aims to strengthen participants' understanding of policy impact evaluation and provide practical insights into applying these approaches in research and policy settings.
