This workshop jointly organised by the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) at Crawford School of Public Policy - The Australian National University, the Centre for Applied Macro- and Petroleum Economics (CAMP) at the Norwegian BI Business School and the University of Tasmania features recent research in the general area of applied macroeconometrics, with a strong component on commodities and macroeconometrics. The workshop will feature research on issues such as: the oil boom and the US economy; oil and fiscal policy; forecasting the real price of oil under volatility; Dutch disease; asset returns; commodity prices; and oil supply shocks.

Speakers include Hilde Bjornland (CAMP and CAMA), Efrem Castlenuovo (University of Melbourne and CAMA), Giovanni Caggiano (Monash University), Francesco Ravazzolo (University of Bolzano, CAMP and CAMA), Beili Zhu (CAMA and Crawford), Nicholas Grosheny (University of Adelaide), Renee Fry-McKibbin (CAMA and CAMP), Leif Anders Thorsrud (Norges Bank), Joaquin Vespignani (University of Tasmania and CAMA), and Thomas Gundersen (CAMP).
