This Friday 8 December, the East Asian Bureau of Economic Research will be hosting a roundtable with Dr Paola Subacchi, Senior Research Fellow and former research director of international economics at Chatham House, Dr Subacchi is also a Visiting Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna and non-executive director of the FTSE-listed Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust Plc.

Dr Subacchi will present on the rise of the renminbi, based on her latest book The People’s Money, How China is Building a People Currency. A roundtable discussion will follow Dr Subacchi’s presentation. A light lunch will be provided.
