Sri Mulyani Indrawati is the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, under President Joko Widodo since 2016, and was previously in the same post under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono from 2005 to 2010. She was appointed as an Executive Director on the board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from 2002 to 2004 and Managing Director of the World Bank Group from 2010 to 2016. She has an economics doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has taught in University of Indonesia and Georgia State University. Dr Mulyani was named Finance Minister of the Year by Euromoney in 2006 and by FinanceAsia in 2018. She was Global Market’s Best Minister of Finance in the East Asia and Pacific region in 2018. She also received the Best Minister Award at the 2018 World Government Summit.
