Join us to hear the lead authors of the UK Government flagship futures paper, Global Strategic Trends, discuss the findings of their most recent report published in October 2018. The report is a comprehensive examination of the trends that will drive strategic change out to 2050, from technology and environment to economics, politics and human development, and their implications for governments and strategic issues. Their work has been built on extensive international and regional consultations that included a strong Indo-Pacific focus.
This event will be relevant to a wide scope of interests – from policy professionals to demographers to the energy industry, students to futurists to journalists and any level of strategic thinkers across the interested public.
BRIG Ewen Murchison is the Head of Futures and Strategic Analysis at the Development, Concept and Doctrine Centre (DCDC) in the UK Ministry of Defence.
