Date & time
The trials of coronavirus vaccine are underway around the world. But it may take years before the vaccine is available, even as all the resources are now directed towards developing it. And when the time comes, there will be complexities, such as health regulations, between the vaccine and the general public who need it. In this webinar, we invite Ines Atmosukarto, a scientist at the John Curtin School of Medical Research, ANU and the CEO of Lipotek, a Canberra niche biotech company. She will be talking about vaccines and drug policy in Indonesia and of whether we are keeping up with the race. To discuss the demand side of drugs, we also invite Anindita Gabriella Sudewo from UNSW and Aditya Wardhana from the Indonesia AIDS Coalition. They will be drawing a comparison to the experience faced by people living with HIV in Indonesia.
