In this webinar, we will talk about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to labour market in Indonesia. We invite Dr Titik Anas, Ms Joanna Octavia, Dr Chris Manning to the panel. Dr Anas is a special adviser to the Indonesian Minister of Finance and a lecturer at Universitas Padjadjaran. She will discuss the government policies to help workers dealing with the pandemic. Ms Octavia is a PhD scholar at the Warwick Institute for Employment Research, University of Warwick. She will talk about the effect of the pandemic on the displaced, informal sector workers. Dr Manning, an honorary associate professor at the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics, ANU, will chair the seminar and provide an overview of the labour market issues in Indonesia.
