Your expert: Associate Professor Keith Barney

Associate Professor Keith Barney is currently serving as the Head of Department for the Crawford School’s Resources Environment & Development (RE&D) Group.

Keith is particularly interested in understanding processes of ‘resourcification’ (the making of resource commodities from nature), and its articulation with property rights and livelihoods, territorialisation, market governance, state-building, and systems of authoritarian rule.

This interactive session will provide the opportunity for you to dive deep into RE&D programs, ask questions and receive information to help you make the best decision for your academic and professional career.

Student stories: Gabriella Warden

Master of Climate Change graduate Gabriella Warden, completed her studies in 2021. Motivated by her first-hand experience of climate change during the millennium drought, Gabriella applied her interest in science and policy to her studies.

“Climate change is a ubiquitous challenge. It touches everything, with unique impacts across every sector and society. No matter where my career takes me, the knowledge, skills and connections I have made during the Masters of Climate Change program will provide a solid foundation.”
