1pm WIB/5pm AEDT

Co-hosted by the Indonesia Project and the Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS), the Indonesia Policy Dialogue returns to host one-on-one conversations with key Indonesian government officials and experts on Indonesia’s public policies. This time, the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute in Singapore joins as an additional co-host and adds further weight to the event.

This event will explore recent food policies, in particular Indonesian Presidential Regulation No. 125/2022 on Food Reserves, and their role in preserving food security. We will explore strategies and initiatives by the National Food Agency and Ministry of Finance to boost Indonesia’s food security during the economic recovery from the pandemic.

Join the discussion and hear from Mr H. Arief Prasetyo, Chief of the National Food Agency of Indonesia and Dr Titik Anas, Special Adviser to the Minister of Finance, Indonesia. The event will be moderated by Dr Maria Monica Wihardja, Visiting Fellow at ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute.

This event will be in English, with Indonesian interpretation available.
