This one-day conference will provide insights into the newest Australia’s strategic partner in Southeast Asia. The conference, co-organised by the National Economics University of Vietnam, examines the nature of Vietnam’s contemporary development issues, ranging from macroeconomy and international trade to responses to climate change and social issues. These matters are of concern to policymakers, government agencies, and other stakeholders, addressing current or near-future societal problems or challenges in Vietnam that necessitate policy intervention. The presenters will employ evidence-based research methodologies to identify and discuss the implications of their findings for policy development, implementation, or evaluation, offering insights that decision-makers can utilize to formulate effective policies.
