The UNESCO Chair in Water Economics and Transboundary Water Governance has been established to promote the Millennium Development Goals of environmental sustainability in Africa of the UN. Over the next four years the UNESCO Chair will work with its network partners in Southern Africa and collaborators in China to promote water research, training, capacity building and knowledge transfer.
