Prof Margaret Alston is Head of the Department of Social Work at Monash University. She has established the Gender, Leadership and Social Sustainability (GLASS) Research Unit in the Department and has several PhD students working in the area of gender and climate change. She has published widely and is internationally recognised for her work.
