The Crawford Policy Forum is an initiative to bring together the Canberra policy community and to engage on important policy concerns. The theme for this half-day Forum is ‘Health Care Reform and Policy Implementation’. The Forum will explore the strategic and economic aspects of this theme through presentations by leaders in the field as well as academic experts from the Crawford School. These include Professor John Deeble, one of the architects of Medibank; Professor Andrew Podger, former Secretary of the Department of Health and Aged Care; Ian McAuley, Fellow, Centre for Policy Development; Adrian Kay, Associate Professor, Crawford School of Economics and Government and Ann Nevile, Senior Lecturer and Director of the Social Policy Action Research Centre, Crawford School. The forum will be opened by Crawford School Director Tom Kompas and chaired by Professor John Uhr.
