Gender research has become influential and been increasingly mainstreamed across the disciplines of Social Science. Social Scientists have always adopted ideas from feminist theories. However, recently the interest in this field has increased substantially with inter-disciplinary as well as multi-disciplinary dialogues going on that expand and impact Gender studies.

This post graduate conference aims to bring together post graduate research students as well as academics across various disciplines of Social Science of ANU to continue to strengthen the dialogue mentioned above. The Conference will enable post-graduate students to share research in the field of gender studies across disciplines. It will not only include feminist researchers/gender studies students but also other research students from other disciplines of social sciences (such as anthropology, sociology, cultural studies, history, etc), who explore gender within their research.

This conference is fully supported by ANU Gender Institute.

Participate: The conference is now calling for active participants. However, due to limited seats, please send your expression of interest by 20 November 2015 to Evi Eliyanah.

Conference booklet, including schedule, abstracts and bios is available at here.
