Ihan is a first-year PhD student at the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis within the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University. He is under the supervision of Distinguished Professor Renée Fry-McKibbin (non-executive member of the RBA Monetary Policy Board.)

Ihan holds a Master's degree in International & Development Economics from ANU and a Bachelor's degree in Financial Economics from Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics.
