Manh-Tien Bui
Manh-Tien Bui is a policy-oriented economist and Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University, with over eight years of experience bridging academic research and multilateral development in Viet Nam and Australia. His research lies at the intersection of political economy, and environmental and energy economics, specifically examining the determinants and welfare implications of energy transitions and environmental policies. Having delivered analytical briefs and commissioned reports for the National Assembly of Viet Nam, the World Bank, the United Nations, and Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), he seeks to connect rigorous economic analysis with practical insights to support effective and equitable climate and development policy.
