Senior Researcher, Hanoi School of Business & Management (HSB) and Honorary Associate Professor at the Australian National University (ANU).

Tran was awarded his B.S. degree in aquaculture in his native Vietnam in 1997 and, after a decade as an aquacultural researcher, started graduate school at Auburn. He received his master’s in rural sociology and his Ph.D.  degree in applied economics, both from Auburn’s Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology.
