Puspa Sharma is a PhD Candidate in the Policy and Governance Programme at the Crawford School of Public Policy, The Australian National University. He is a recipient of the Australia Awards Scholarship. Prior to starting his PhD, he was Director and Editor (Trade Insight) at South Asia Watch on Trade, Economics and Environment (SAWTEE) in Kathmandu, and is currently on leave. Puspa holds an MA in Economics from the Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, Nepal, and an MA in Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration from the University of Denver in Colorado, USA. He was one of the five recipients of the Fulbright Scholarship from Nepal in 2007.
