Dindi Huckle-Moran is the Communication and Engagement Assistant in the Communications & Engagements team at Crawford School. Her background is in corporate and Indigenous affairs, human rights and marketing. Dindi is completing a certificate in business management with the Australian Traineeship Company and The Australian National University. Dindi attended Narrabundah College in Canberra, where she majored in politics, anthropology and sociology. Dindi plans to continue her studies in these areas at ANU in coming years.
Dindi works in event organisation and management at Crawford School. She also assists in maintaining Crawford School’s internal and external communications. She has previously worked in marketing and sales roles for PANDORA and Australian Interactive Marketing (AIM), and in administrative roles for organisations such as the Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association (AIDA).
Dindi belongs to the Wiradjuri and Wongarbon Indigenous nations. A child of a member of the stolen generations, Dindi also volunteered for the NSDC, and was a participant in the 2008 National Apology ceremony. An environmentalist and activist for women and children’s rights and health, Dindi has done volunteer work with the UN for Women, and the Kids with Cancer Foundation.
