Malo ni Maima Koro is from Tokelau and Samoa. She has over 20 years’ of international development experience in the Pacific at national and regional levels. She has worked in the security, education, health, and governance sectors. Maima has a wealth of knowledge of the Pacific landscape and specialises on the contextualisation of donor-funded initiatives to be of relevance to Pacific environments.
Maima recently worked for Scope Global and played a key role in delivering the Pacific technical Assistance Mechanism Phase 2 (PACTAM2) on behalf of DFAT, providing strategic insight and advice to enhance capacity development approaches and activities across the region.
Maima holds a Master of Public Policy from the Victoria University of Wellington, and she is multilingual.
