Rani Kerin joined the ANU Indonesia Project as the managing editor of the Bulletin of Indonesian Economic Studies (BIES) in 2025. She has a long association with ANU, having commenced there as a doctoral student in 1999. Most recently she worked as a research editor at the Australian Dictionary of Biography and freelance academic copyeditor for ANU Press. She is an accredited editor with the Institute of Professional Editors.
