Yvonne Butler is Director Strategy and Governance at The Information Source. She is an accomplished senior executive with 30 years’ experience in corporate strategy, governance, transformation, program management, project delivery and risk management.

Yvonne provides strategic guidance to senior executives in both public and private sectors, focusing on effective governance and risk management to help organisations achieve their objectives.

Yvonne has had a long career in and around Defence, including serving as an officer in the Royal Australian Corps of Signals. Currently, she is a Director of the Certa Cito Foundation, the national charity supporting the Corps, and a Committee Member of the Australian Commando Association.

Yvonne has worked in a variety of sectors across Australia and Asia Pacific. She has held senior positions in leading professional services firms such as Allens, Mallesons Stephen Jaques, Ernst & Young, Kaplan & Norton, Palladium Group, and major infrastructure organisations such as APP Corporation and Transfield Services.

As former Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Institute of Project Management, Yvonne was instrumental in developing project management competencies, standards, education, certification and advocacy at national and international levels.

Yvonne is passionate about diversity on boards and committees, and is a strong advocate for gender, cognitive and cultural diversity. She is a proud mentor and thrives on guiding the next generation of leaders.
