The Crawford School is home to the East Asian Forum (EAF) and houses the secretariats for the South Asian Bureau of Economic Research (SABER), the East Asian Bureau of Economic Research (EABER) and the Pacific Trade and Development conference (PAFTAD). EAF provides expert analysis and commentary on East Asia while EABER, SABER and PAFTAD bring together the top economic research institutes and researchers in the region. Together, they promote dialogue and research on important economic, political and other issues in the region and Australia’s position in the region.
