Seminars & events
The RE&D Seminars comprise three series:
- RE&D Arguments: Debates on resource management are presented by a panel of three or four speakers including staff and students from within RE&D and invited specialists from government, NGOs, business and academia. Each panelist gives a short presentation which is followed by discussion with the audience. Topics are selected on the basis of their strong public interest. The Arguments are usually held in the Sparke Helmore Law Theatre or the Hedley Bull Centre (APCD) from 4.30-6pm and are followed by refreshments.
- RE&D Research Seminars and PhD Student Seminars are held on Thursdays between 12:30 and 1:30, location to be announced.
Venues are subject to change depending on audience size.
Podcasts and streaming audio are made available where authorisation has been given by the presenters
