Dr Sudirman Nasir is a senior public health lecturer and advocate whose research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of biomedical and social determinants of health as well as the interconnection of health and social development. An Associate Professor at Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) Faculty of Public Health his more recent works explore the complex relationship between climate crisis, socio-health vulnerability and resilience of marginalised populations in Indonesia and in the Asia-Pacific region. Sudirman graduated from UNHAS Faculty of Medicine and earned a PhD from the University of Melbourne.
