Crawford’s Next Gen program shakes it up

25 October 2018

Crawford’s Dr Sara Bice and her team at the Next Generation Engagement Program have been highly commended for their research at the 2018 Core Values Awards.

The award was presented last night at the International Association for Public Participation Australasia’s 2018 Conference: Shake It Up!

Next Gen is a ground-breaking project aiming to improve the relationship between communities and infrastructure projects, to identify and promote best practice and to support positive community outcomes from major infrastructure delivery.

Dr Sara Bice recently featured the project on Policy Forum Pod with Next Gen Industry Director Kirsty O’Connell.

The program started work last year and publicly released the Research Priorities Report, addressing gaps between best and on-the-ground practice, in December 2017.

Now, Next Gen is working to establish an international research centre based on these industry-identified priorities.
