Arndt-Corden Department of Economics
The Arndt-Corden Department of Economics (ACDE) works on key problems in economics, with emphasis on Australia, the Asia-Pacific, and global challenges. ACDE’s mission is to carry out economics research at the frontier of knowledge and educate the next generation of researchers and decision makers.
National Security College
The NSC is a specialist graduate centre for national security study, research and outreach, offering executive courses, postgraduate and doctoral studies.
Policy and Governance Program
The Policy and Governance group offers programs in public policy (including specialisations in 14 areas) and public administration, as well as unique opportunities for students to develop and advance their skills in applied policy research through projects and internships.
Resources, Environment and Development
The staff in the Resources, Environment and Development Program (RE&D) carry out cutting edge, interdisciplinary research and teaching, focusing on the social dimensions of environmental and resource management in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. RE&D’s research community hosts leading academics and students from diverse disciplinary backgrounds such as anthropology, geography and ecological economics.
