Pre-sessional program

The pre-sessional program aims to prepare students who may be embarking on graduate coursework for the first time, or who may have been away from formal studies for a significant period of time. It ensures students can adjust to the academic culture and expectations of graduate study.

The program includes an introduction to graduate academic study; academic reading and writing; presentation skills; research techniques; and information and computer literacy skills. In addition the program covers basic concepts in public policy and administration; economics; environmental science; microeconomics; macroeconomics and mathematics depending on the degree program you will be entering into.

The programs runs for 5-6 weeks before the commencement of each semester therefore commences in January and June each year.
