In addition to in-depth analysis of general trends in the Chinese Economy, the China Economy Program’s research agenda is presently focussed on several broad themes:

  • Recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
  • Prospects for China attaining high-income economy status.
  • Macroeconomic development in China and its interaction with the world economy.
  • Innovation and technological progress in China.
