Dr Jenna Price, ANU Visiting Fellow and columnist at the Canberra Times and the Sydney Morning Herald gets inquiries every day from academics who want to write op-eds or comment pieces. This workshop will provide a quick ten point guide on how to pitch and write an op-ed; and show why communicating with the general public on your research really matters.

You might even leave with a skeleton for an opinion piece! Please bring your laptop.

Jenna’s writing workshop is ideal for PhD students and early career researchers. It is important to reserve a place as we are limiting numbers to achieve a better learning experience for participants.

Professor Ariadne Vromen, Bunting Chair of Public Administration, located at the Crawford School of Public Policy, will host this activity.
