In what ways can a stewardship framework, supported by high-quality evaluation, be applied to improve public policy outcomes?

The Public Sector Economics Conference 2023 provides an opportunity to hear the latest research, analysis and thinking in public policy economics. This year’s conference will have a key focus on evidence and evaluation and the increasingly important role they play in policy and program design.

Through engaging keynote speeches, panel discussions and networking opportunities, conference participants will be able to discover a balanced approach of practice and theory to help implement innovative ways of tackling policy and program challenges.

Participants will hear from a range of leading academics, chief economists and senior government officials. An opening panel on stewardship will feature the Australian Public Service Commissioner Dr Gordon de Brouwer PSM.
