Adam joined the National Security College in October 2021 on secondment from the Department of Health. He is jointly responsible for designing innovative, high-quality executive and professional development courses and course materials to meet the needs of the national security community. Adam joined the NSC after working in the Health Economics and Research Division of Health, where he led a team providing data analysis and advice about major health expenditure programs. Adam also made a number of contributions to analysing and visualising data to assist with Australia’s COVID-19 response. Prior to this, he worked at the Department of Finance, having built a data analysis and visualisation capability to examine social policy spending, policy development and reforms. Adam has previously worked on energy efficiency programs at the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency as well as a variety of roles at the Department of Human Services and at Centrelink. Adam recently completed the Executive Level 2 National Security Development Program: Leadership and Resilience in a Contested Future, and holds Graduate Certificate in Energy and the Environment as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chemistry) from Queensland University of Technology.
