Caroline joined the ANU National Security College on secondment from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in March 2021. As Deputy Head of College, she manages the executive and professional development programs and leads the College’s corporate and workforce operations functions.

Caroline has spent the majority of her career working in or with national security agencies, including ASD, ONI, DFAT and PM&C. She joined the newly created National Bushfire Recovery Agency following the 19-20 bushfires and most recently provided HR, capability development and change management expertise to two separate multi-agency government taskforces. As a career human resources professional, Caroline brings expertise in recruitment, corporate governance, coaching and mentoring and learning and development to the College.

Caroline has a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in psychology, from the Australian National University and currently sits on the board of the Institute for Regional Security.
