Originally from India, Tanuj completed his Master of International Relations from ANU. He started working at NSC in 2023, prior to which he worked as a Project Officer – Outreach & Communications at the Department of Pacific Affairs, ANU. Tanuj has a background in corporate communications, public relations and has worked extensively in the tertiary education sector in both India and Australia.

Tanuj specialises in developing and implementing research communications strategies as well as liaising with internal and external stakeholders (government and policy agencies, regional organisations, non-for-profit organisations). At NSC, he is the producer for the National Security Podcast and handles digital communications for the College.
