Travis joined the ANU National Security College in September 2021, after working with the Law Council of Australia in an administrative role. Prior to this, he worked in the ACT Public Service and spent 17 years in the financial services industry working in both administrative and compliance roles, both in Australia and New Zealand.

Travis recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Political Science and International Relations through the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Arts (Social Sciences) through Latrobe University.
