Michael Fabinyi is a Visiting Fellow in the Resources, Environment and Development Program. He has authored or co-authored two books and more than fifty journal articles on the social aspects of coastal and marine resource governance and use. His work has been geographically concentrated in the Asia-Pacific, and core research interests include coastal livelihoods, fisheries trade, and the role of China in global fisheries.
