ANU Indonesia Project Research Travel Grants

The Indonesia Project Research Travel Grants will assist students who plan to undertake research or are currently undertaking research for which they will benefit from travel to Indonesia.

The first grants were offered in the 2014 academic year.

The grants are open for individuals of at least 18 years of age, and are currently enrolled or about to enrol in degree programs at the honours or masters level at an eligible university in Australia*. The grants are open to Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents.

Indonesia Project at The Australian National University is offering the sixth round of travel grants to individual students undertaking or planning to undertake research for which they would benefit from traveling to Indonesia. Up to four grants, of up to $5,000 each will be awarded in each round. Information regarding the previous grants is available from ANU Indonesia Project Research Travel Grants.

Eligibility

These grants are open to Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents of at least 18 years of age and currently enrolled or about to enrol in degree programs at the honours or master’s level at an eligible university in Australia.

Deadline of application

Applicants must submit all relevant documentation, including an indicative budget, to Indonesia.Project@anu.edu.au, by 31 March each year (* please note that in 2018 the deadline is by 9 March). The successful candidates will be notified by either mid June or mid January. They are then expected to do their field works within 6 months afterward.
