CSEE cancellation policy

Open enrolment courses

  • Courses are non-refundable for change of mind. In this case, course registration is fully transferrable to another open enrolment course within 12 months from the original course date.
  • No fee will be charged if a participant nominates a replacement registrant to attend the same course. The name and contact details of the replacement nominee must be emailed to csee@anu.edu.au at least 48 hours prior to the course date. Changes required less than 48 hours prior to the course date may incur an additional administration fee of $100.00 for each change requested.
  • 50% of the course fee will be refunded for cancellations between 15-21 days prior to the course date.
  • Cancellations within 14 days prior to the course date will incur the full course fee.
  • If you do not attend a course due to medical reasons and provide a valid medical certificate within 48 hours, 75% of the course fee will be credited towards another course in the calendar of the same value. The remaining 25% of the fee will be used for costs incurred.
  • If a registrant is not in attendance on the course day, the full course fee will be charged.
  • Crawford School Executive Education reserves the right to cancel courses due to unforeseen circumstances, and participants will be notified of any changes with as much notice possible.
  • If a course is rescheduled due to COVID-19, the participant will be notified and transferred to the rescheduled course date. In this case, the participant is entitled to request transfer to another course within the next calendar year, or may request a refund of the original course fee.
  • If the course is cancelled, 100% of the course fee paid will be refunded.

Disclaimer: Failure to adhere to any of the above policies will forfeit a refund. All figures quoted are GST free, unless otherwise stated.

Bespoke and tailored courses

  • No fee will be charged for replacement of participants attending the course.   • Contract permitting, 50% of the course fee will be refunded for cancellations between 21-28 working days prior to the course date.
  • Cancellations within 20 days prior to the course date will incur the full course fee.
  • Where the fee negotiated has been designed on a per person basis and a participant(s) are not in attendance on the course day, the full course fee will be charged, regardless of circumstance.
  • Executive Education reserves the right to cancel courses due to unforeseen circumstances, and where this is applicable as much notice is provided as possible to the hosting party.
  • If the course is cancelled by Executive Education, 100% of any course fee paid will be refunded.

Program changes:

While the Australian National University (ANU) has used all reasonable endeavours to ensure the information contained in promotional materials and online are as accurate as possible at time of publication, the ANU reserves the right to vary the material or information contained in publications and any associated linked sites at any time without notice. Crawford School Executive Education reserves the right to change programs/presenters, or to cancel programs if enrolment criteria is not met, or when conditions beyond its control prevail. In the event of an event being cancelled, all registrants will be notified and arrangements will be made to reschedule or for the registration to move across to another Executive Education course.

Privacy policy:

ANU recognises that your privacy is very important. The way ANU collects, uses, discloses, secures and disposes of your personal information is governed by our compliance with, and obligations as an ‘agency’ under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Crawford School Executive Education collects information as required in order to administer and manage registrations for its courses and events. If registrants do not provide all the relevant information, registrations may not be confirmed. The information you provide may be used to maintain contact and keep you up-to-date with information about upcoming courses, events, networking and other Executive Education alumni opportunities. If you do not wish to receive this information, please contact csee@anu.edu.au.

Event photography:

Crawford School Executive Education events may be photographed and recorded. Images and recordings are kept by Crawford School Executive Education and may be used for promotional purposes including websites, publications, social media and other modern technologies. If you do not want your photograph taken at an event please inform the photographer on the day.
