Tara Davda is a Research Officer at the Development Policy Centre, Crawford School of Public Policy.
Trained in development economics, Tara is currently performing research into service delivery in PNG, and the impact of anti-corruption messaging in PNG. She also coordinates and edits the Devpolicy newsletter, podcasts and other media. Before joining Devpolicy, Tara was a member of the Impact Evaluation team at IPC-UNDP Brazil, where she was involved in research on the impact of social protection models on poverty outcomes.
Tara is passionate about creating development opportunities in developing countries. This interest has led her to research opportunities in Asia and Latin America, where her work has focused on financial tools for poverty alleviation, water resource management and social protection. She also has a particular interest in refugee policy.
She holds a Masters in International Development Economics, with a specialization in Environmental Economics, Natural Resource Policy and Development from Crawford School of Public policy, ANU.
