Crawford will this week say a fond farewell and best wishes to 120 of its graduating students.

The graduates include 87 Crawford graduate studies students, 26 National Security College students and 7 PhD Scholars. They will be presented with their awards at the graduation ceremony at Llewelyn Hall on Friday.

Crawford School Director Professor Helen Sullivan said she is delighted for the graduates and has high hopes for them.

“On behalf of the whole school I congratulate all of the Crawford students graduating this week. It’s an important and special day for them, and a time to recognise and mark the very hard work that they have put in through their studies,” she said.

“Graduation day means a lot to everyone here at Crawford School. We have a tightly knit community and relish the opportunity to celebrate our successes. The students going through the graduation ceremonies this week make us very proud. We know they will go on to, or in some cases return to, high profile and senior positions in policy and governments around the world. The graduates we celebrate with this week will be the leaders shaping the policy and world around us in the years to come.”

She added that although the ceremony marks the end the students’ formal time with the University, it should not mark the end of their relationship with the school.

“I hope all our graduating students continue to stay in touch with Crawford through the alumni program and through maintaining the friendships and connections that they have developed in their time here.

“Everyone at Crawford wishes them all the very best for the future.”
